What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is the permanent removal of unwanted hair that requires a series of treatments and is a medically and FDA approved procedure.

Electrolysis was developed in 1875 by an opthalmologist to treat ingrown eyelashes. Electrolysis is now used throughout the world as the only method of permanent hair removal.

How does Electrolysis work?

A sterile probe is inserted into the hair follicle and a small amount of electrical current destroys the source of nourishment to the hair follicle, tweezers are then used to remove the hair.

What does Electrolysis feel like?

When Electrolysis is performed you will feel the sensation of heat during the treatment. Some areas of the body are more sensitive than others and tolerance varies from person to person. Topical anaesthetics may be used for individuals who feel the need to minimise discomfort during treatments.

Courses of Electrolysis are to be completed within 6 months of purchase
