Reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume. Revitalise your skin.
Dermal fillers treatments are temporary dissolvable treatments to contour and create volume, fill out lines and wrinkles and revitalise the skin. Dermal fillers used at Grove Cosmetic Clinic are made up of Hyaluronic acid, which is made up of a complex sugar chain and chemically identical to a substance that naturally exists in your body.
By boosting the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look. Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilised, non-animal hyaluronic acid. The gel is tissue-friendly and closely resembles the hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the body. It is long-lasting but not permanent.
The result of a single treatment can be seen instantly and can last for around 6 to 12 months. Dermal filler injections can create a natural looking result which does not affect facial expression.

Do I need pain relief when I have Dermal Fillers?
Generally, pain relief is not necessary when injecting into the skin to correct lines and wrinkles. Some people may experience the treatment as a mild discomfort. A local anaesthetic cream can be applied to the area for a more comfortable treatment experience.
The lips are a highly sensitive part of the body and, therefore, only dermal filler products with local anaesthetic lidocaine are used for a more comfortable treatment experience.
Are there any risks associated with Dermal Fillers?
Only genuine branded dermal fillers with an impeccable safety record are used at The Grove Cosmetic & Skin Clinic .
More than 10 million treatments have been performed since the launch of dermal filler in 1996. Product related reactions are rare. However as with any medical procedure there are some injection related reactions which may occur after any injection; they typically resolve with post treatment management a few days after injection to the skin, within a week after injection into the lips. These reactions include redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising or tenderness at the injection site. More serious side effects like infection, allergy, granuloma and necrosis have been reported (less than 1 in 15000).
After lip enhancement, lips may swell for up to a week, but this typically reduces after two to three days.
